The Mauricie regional office for the recognition of prior learning and competencies serves the area of Region 04, which includes the regional municipal counties of Cheneaux, Maskinongé, Mékinac, Haut-Saint-Maurice, Trois-Rivières and Shawinigan. It represents all the educational institutions of Mauricie, including, Cégep de Trois-Rivières, Collège Ellis (Trois-Rivières campus), Collège Laflèche, Collège Shawinigan, the Commission scolaire de l’Énergie, the Commission scolaire du Chemin-du-Roy and Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.

The Mauricie regional office for the recognition of prior learning and competencies offers centralized telephone access at 819-536-3121. For all information on programs of study offered in connection with recognition prior learning or on the process itself, you can contact us Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to receive personal service. You do not need to leave your home or contact the schools. When the time comes we will refer you to the proper educational institution.
 
Mauricie offers recognition of prior learning based on 47 programs in vocational training and 33 programs in technical training. All the university programs are offered in recognition of prior learning, according to specific conditions. The range of services is constantly evolving according to demands and the means available in the region.
